An initial “getting to know you” meeting which can be done in person or over Zoom.
  
Once a contract is signed, a planning meeting is scheduled to discuss the ceremony.

Following the meeting, your personalized wedding ceremony will be created.

Once the ceremony is created, the couple will review and edit, if required.

On the wedding day, the officiant arrives at least 45-60 minutes prior to the ceremony

Following the ceremony, the officiant will sign the marriage license and file it with the proper office.

How long have you been officiating wedding ceremonies?

Although I have been in the wedding industry for over 30 years, I became ordained and began officiating ceremonies in 2019.

Where do you perform wedding ceremonies?

Currently, I officiate weddings in Washington, D.C. and in all counties in Maryland. 

Do you attend the wedding rehearsal?

I have found that in most cases, I am not needed at the rehearsal; especially, if you have a wedding planner. However, if you feel more comfortable with me attending the rehearsal, if I am available, there is an additional fee.

What do you wear to the ceremony?

I wear attire appropriate for the time of day of your wedding. For daytime weddings, I usually wear a black dress and for evening weddings, if required, I wear a black gown.

What types of ceremonies do you perform?

I officiate traditional, non-denominational, inter-faith, religious, spiritual, multi-cultural, and civil ceremonies. If you don’t see the type of ceremony you desire, ask me about it.

Do you perform same sex ceremonies?

Absolutely. I believe in marriage equality for all.

Do you stay for the reception?

In most cases, I do not stay for the reception. I leave after completing the signing of the marriage license. 

Is parking and travel to my wedding included in your fee?

No, travel and parking are additional fees. These fees will be quoted to you during the initial meeting.

Do you charge for the initial meeting?

No, I do not charge for the initial meeting which is a “getting to know you” meeting that last for about 30 minutes.

What time do you arrive at the wedding?

I arrive for 45 minutes prior to the wedding to perform a sound check and check in with the vendor team.
